After years in awe of my circumstances — first on my own as an adult in the home where I began, and then blissfully not alone as my child slept in the very petite bedroom in which I grew up — I wrote this book. It is an attempt to understand what has been causal, and soon I’ll be able to share my many mistakes and miniature triumphs with you.
